As a company, we stayed resilient throughout numerous challenging situations and embarked on a transformational journey, where the company underwent an acquisition by Renascent a wholly-owned subsidiary of Resurgent Power Ventures Pte Limited a joint venture between Tata Power International Pte Ltd, ICICI Ventures and other reputed global investors, that invigorated its performance. Today, the thermal power plant in Bara tehsil, Prayagraj district, has three 660 MW coal-fired supercritical units. The 1980 MW plant facility is now upgraded with modern equipment that has led to the resurgence of PPGCL as a reliable supplier of power to the nation’s needs!
